How to object to Powys Planning

How to Raise Objections With the Powys Planning Office.

We believe that we have the right to object to windfarm applications in Powys on the basis that it affects us because if the application were to be approved the hub and the 400kV powerline which don't currently exist would have to be built. You can object in writing or by email to the following address:

1. Accept the T&C’s

2. Link on option 3 – Planning Applications which takes you to the page below…

3. Enter each Planning reference number in the top left box. On each planning application there is a button to ‘Comment on the Application’. There you can choose to object to it.

Here are the reasons you could state in the comments box…

  1. The infrastructure and highways are not suitable to withstand the huge number of vehicles and the weight of the vehicles that will be passing through the area.
  2. The cumulative impact is unacceptable in upland/rural areas
  3. It will have a detrimental impact on ecology
